Red Dragon – Climb the first tower from 1-2 and use your Bow weapon to kill the dragon. With all the bosses you’ve beaten so far, you unlocked the path from 1-3 towards your next destination. To the east here are locked doors, but we don’t have the key yet so we will be back. The tr88.com  other path has stairs and here you will need to go east and around to reach the closed doors. Exit through the path across the reaper and follow the path east. There will be a lot of skeletons and be careful for long distance arrows that can reach you.

This is a bit different from the whole bonfire setup in Dark Souls, as Arch Stones in Demon’s Souls allow you to travel between areas as well as return to the safe hub area, the Nexus. You also have to find or buy items to replenish health, though some weapons and other items, such as rings, can replenish health as well. With all that in mind, it’s wonderful that Bluepoint Games mostly ignored all of the newer Souls games and thoroughly nailed this remake of Demon’s Souls.

Now that we’ve gotten the nitpicking going, we should probably also bring up the fact that we’re not big fans of the new UI. The original’s menu system was a nightmare that could still prove difficult to navigate after hours of play, but it was form over function. The boxes had small flourishes around their edges and the menu bars and icons had a personality to them that felt unabashedly stylistic. That’s all been tossed to the wayside for straight lines and plain rectangles. Like we said, we’re just nit-picking here, but it’s unfortunate that the developer couldn’t reach a happy medium or at least bring over some of that personality from the original.

In other words, a weapon that scales with magic at an S level will be tremendously boosted as you upgrade your magic. The opposite can be said if it only scales at an E level, in which you’d only notice a slight difference when improving your magic stats. When you upgrade weapons, the stats they scale with will often increase in ranking, so don’t be alarmed if your weapon only scales at the E level to start with. At the bottom of each weapon’s stat screen is a section called Attribute Bonus. This informs you of which stats your weapons scale with, and you’ll want to always keep this in mind when choosing your main weapon. A weapon can scale with strength, dexterity, magic, or faith, meaning the higher those stats are, the more effective the weapon is.

You will need him for the next boss fight if you want the additional trophy. From here, follow the new stairs down, go east and you will reach Yurt, the Silent Chief in the cage. Beware, if you free him (and you should) and he goes to Nexus, he will start killing people there. If he falls down by any chance, save and exit the game and the loot will be in front of his cage.

That being said, Bluepoint Games has still maintained the core aspects of the combat, ensuring that there are no changes in the frames of the original from that of the remake. A great example of this would be the bare-knuckle parry, which punches the enemy several times in a truly visceral fashion. It goes without saying that Demon’s Souls has made the act of going through the game bare-handed viable simply because of this amazing animation. There’s no other game right now that truly encapsulates the next-gen feel other than Demon’s Souls right now, which looks more beautiful than anyone could’ve imagined in their wildest dreams.

Though somewhat stylistically uneven, Demon’s Souls PS5 manages to capture the spirit of the original game. Updates made to Demon’s Souls’ multiplayer make the experience much easier overall. The remake also added Fractured Mode, a new mode that flips the game’s levels horizontally, making the game feel brand new to even veterans of Demon’s Souls.
